Geraldton Circuit Twilight - Children's Matters Stakeholders Forum
WA Family Law Pathways Network is proud to support the Children's Matters Stakeholders Forum organised by the Geraldton Family Relationships Centre, which is scheduled to coincide with the February circuit of the Family Court of Western Australia in Geraldton.
Children’s Matters Stakeholders have been meeting regularly for the past several years and through these forums we are able to continue to successfully achieve sound networking between all stakeholders including legal practitioners, family dispute resolution practitioners, the Family Court of Western Australia and the Courthouse in Geraldton.
The topic for the upcoming Forum will be titled ‘Fathering & Attachment’ from Kevin Hanavan, Family Consultant at the Family Court of Western Australia. Kevin is a Registered Psychologist with a breadth of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. Over the last 20 years, Kevin has worked with young people at risk of social and psychological harm and their families. Kevin has also specialised in the area of family and domestic violence working with both women and men. Kevin has a particular interest in working with men to maintain their psychological wellbeing but also in their role as husbands and partners or fathers. He also has experience in the area of men’s groups as well as in teaching both children and adults.
