Supporting Trans and Gender Diverse Clients

Supporting Trans and Gender Diverse Clients

WA Family Law Pathways Network is pleased to present these workshops in Perth and Bunbury with Kai Schweizer to gain a better understanding of gender identities, learn about trans rights and WA legislation, and gain practical skills for working with trans and gender diverse individuals.

LGBTIQA+ individuals in Western Australia face unique challenges when accessing family law, separation and post-separation support services. It is vital for lawyers, judicial officers, social workers, counsellors, psychologists, health professionals and support staff to have the requisite knowledge and skills to provide safe, appropriate and effective services to trans and gender diverse clients.
