On 20 and 22 February 2019, WA Family law Pathways Network organised full-day workshops with Dr Luke Gahan in Perth and Busselton. Dr Luke Gahan presented his findings from the Australian Separated Same-Sex Parent Study and covered topics including same-sex parents’ experiences of separation services, post-separation shared care, the legal recognition of non-biological parents after separation, and how service providers can work effectively with same-sex parents experiencing separation.
